First of all I cut up an oni...Yes, I'll share!

First of all I cut up an onion and cook it very lightly in a little bit of olive oil and then crush a garlic or two into it. I don’t let anything get brown. Then I add Pastene Ground Peeled Tomatoes and leave this on the stove, simmering in a very heavy pan.

The meatballs are composed of Italian bread which has been moistened with water and then beaten with eggs. Then I add some chopped onion, crushed garlic, minced parsley, grated pecorino romano cheese and hamburg. I mix it well with my hands and form meatballs, which I then fry in a bit of olive oil (I use an electric fry pan because the heat is more even). I then put the meatballs in the sauce and leave them, just barely simmering on low heat for four or five hours. I don’t have exact amounts, and they always come out a little bit differently each time.

HOWEVER, if Marash Girl wants to get up at six some Saturday or Sunday morning and come to my house, we can make them together and she can check the proportions! And bring home half of them!Ann Louisenoreply@blogger.com
