First Snowfall of the Season

Surprised by yesterday's snowfall?  Yes, especially if you had read weather.com's forecast eliminating the possibility of snow (just as the snow began to fall). Light and lovely at noon, heavy and wet by nightfall.  Had you read Marash Girl's comments on the heavy acorn harvest (see Marash Girl's blog post for August 22, 2012), you would have nodded your head and said, "Of course!"
