A friend walking into our house the other day, looked to his left and asked, "Are you trying to grow a garden of leaves of all shapes and sizes?" . . . And he wasn't trying to be funny!
If he was not trying to be funny then I would have categorized it as a "Sinister-Handed Question" ... Why? Etymologically speaking, the definition of sinister is "on the left, or left," perhaps there is a reason why they call the other hand "Right".

ReplyDeleteAs Marash Girl's father used to say, "You're right, I'm right, and he's right, too!" Most likely quoting Nasreddin Hodja!
