National Peanut Butter And Jelly Day

Did you know that April 2nd was NATIONAL PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY DAY? April 2nd coincided with Good Friday this year. As Marash Girl felt it inapproritae to celebrate 'Peanut Butter and Jelly' on Good Friday, Marash Girl will take a moment today to remember how, being a good mother, a woman of Armenian descent, she would never allow her children to take peanut butter and jelly to school for lunch. Among other Armenian taste treats, she would place lamejun in their lunch boxes. But that never daunted her children. Their friends LOVED lamejun, and all Marash Girl's children had to do at lunchtime was exchange their lamejun for sandwiches of peanut butter and jelly made with white bread!!! Simple solution to the problem!
