OCCUPY WALL STREET'S DAY OF ACTION - THE NEXT DAY
Be careful, they both said; there's going to be trouble tomorrow! Such was the warning Marash Girl received from both brother (Jacksonville, Florida) and sister (Dallas, Texas), a warning which was for naught. New York City lacked the excitement of the 99% marching through the streets, as well as the threat of New York's finest hovering along the walkways of New York's Financial District. All was quiet on the Northeastern front of Lower Manhattan yesterday, the day following OWS's Day of Action. One can only assume that both brother and sister were getting their information from the local affiliate for Fox 5 which features morning anchor, Greg Kelly, the son of New York City's Police Commissioner, Ray Kelly.

NOT I SAYS HE. the reason for my cautionary was because i had heard ows was planning to block the bridges and some other vital organs of vehicular traffic. if they had, it would have gotten bloody, quickly.
ReplyDeletejust looking out for the sis.
also i do not watch Fox news. in fact, i do not watch any news. i read.
ReplyDeleteTea Partiers want a smaller government, 'Occupiers' want a bigger government. Why would Occupiers throw out the big government bums who spew promises of security and egalitarian wealth redistribution? 'Occupiers' do not want reform of government, they want a bigger version of what currently exists. However, like all useful idiots, they believe that when their picketting results in a much bigger government, that they will be included and, therefore, benefit from the change.
ReplyDelete@peterson Answer to Peterson's first comment: "We did and it wasn't!!!"
ReplyDeleteMarko Pasha says... Bravo to Peterson! I also read rather than watch. I do not own a television.
ReplyDeleteI have never had a television. As for Fox News...
