Farewell, Vermont . . .

There are plenty of deer in them thar hills, but no ticks!  Would that Massachusetts had Vermont's secret!

  1. Vermont will fare well, and has ever since Ethan and Seth Allan and their Green Mountain Boys captured Fort Ticonderoga on May 10,1775. Oops, Benedict Arnold was along for the ride, before, of course, his name became eponymous with traitor.
Ethan Allan founded the state of Vermont, and not surprising, as both have proven remarkable and steadfast before the assault of the modern world.

  2. No ticks! Very appealing.. Georgia is almost unenjoyable outside because of them. A pity, for there is much beauty.

    1. What? Georgia, too, has been sullied by the tiny varmints?
