Through the eyes of a child . . .

Grandmother:  Stop dirtying that window with your sticky fingers!

Grandchild:  I'm not dirtying the window!  I'm drawing a picture on the window with yogurt!

    The adult saw the world of chaos and sought to restore/maintain order. The child saw her world as something still to be created. The older lived in the seventh day, the younger on one of the days preceding.
