Think before you write? Or write before you think . . .

You know what E. M. Forster used to say . . .

"How do I know what I think until I see what I write . . ."

Marash Girl "knows" that that's true for her . . . . and now she knows for sure!

  1. E. M Forster must be referring to the current crop of College Students who will be taking the "updated" SAT exams. Yes, in case you missed the news last night, the formerly required student essay is now eliminated!
We all know about the dumbing down of education, but since our students are no longer required to write/express themselves, have our students been demoted even further to this other level which some refer to as "thoughtless"?

  2. If you can talk, you can write, but perhaps you can't see what you think if all you do is talk, and certainly others can't see what you think if all you do is talk!

  4. And then, of course, there were the thinkers of old who never set pen to paper; possibly they never knew -- only those around them knew what they thought!

  5. So does that mean that if I write something down that I don't believe, it will become my opinion?
