Why is love between mommy and daddy not as wonderful as Santa kneeling at the manger? I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus is one of Marash Girl's all-time favorites, as she always told her children, "Yes, Santa Claus is real!" And eventually, when they were quite grown, "Don't say you don't believe in Santa Claus! Santa Claus is real! He's your father!"
why? because love is possible because God loved us first. it is in the primacy of His love that we are enabled to love our neighbor as ourselves. the way you have it positioned is that man's love is the equal of God's love, rather than seeing it is a derivative of God's love, i am quite sure you were not intimating that our love was the equal of God's love, were you. Because if you were than you were arrogating unto yourself and ourselves equality with God. isn't that the temptation used against Eve by the Serpent?
