After hours of listening to arguments both pro and con, the Newton Parks & Recreation Commission voted 4/3 to give away (to tar over) a piece of parkland for a school parking lot, despite the fact that the Parks & Recreation Commissioners have taken an oath to preserve parkland. Marash Girl believes the move was illegal.
Remind me NEVER to donate land to the city of Newton, Massachusetts!
